Welcoming Virgin Money to our lending panel

Last week, we were excited to welcome Virgin Money to our lender panel.

As the first aggregator in Australia to partner with this global brand, we’re excited to be offering their new mortgage product, the Reward Me Home Loan to our valued broker members.

The new product will be available in May and is designed to deliver home loan customers a more rewarding experience while also empowering brokers to offer customers a more competitive home loan product.

The new offering will feature competitively-priced fixed and variable rate loans, with discount variable rates based on the size of a customer’s borrowings and loan-to-value ratio.

In addition, your customers will be able to earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Points on settlement and then earn additional points each month and on specific anniversaries. Customers will earn 10,000 Velocity Points for every $100,000 borrowed at settlement, 1,000 Points per month for each loan split, plus 30,000 bonus Points every three years.

Customers will also receive exclusive benefits from partner businesses such as Virgin Australia and Virgin Active.

PLAN Brokers will also have access to some great Virgin Money and Virgin Group benefits available through the broker portal. The Virgin Money Business Development Managers will have more information about this.

Phil was appointed as CEO of PLAN Australia in May 2013. Previously Phil spent three years leading the broker services and operations department, responsible for the delivery of key business initiatives for the Advantedge group. During this time he oversaw and was accountable for the implementation of Podium, NCCP and On-boarding projects. Phil has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry; of which the last eight have been spent working closely with mortgage brokers. Previously he lead the Insurance & Licensee Services department at MLC. He has a passion for working with entrepreneurial, self-employed business owners and is able to draw on a global perspective, gained from time working in Australia, Asia and the UK. Always being one to enjoy advancing his skills and knowledge, this is reflected in his studies which include a MBA and studies in strategic leadership at Oxford University. In addition to work life, Phil is married and has two children and enjoys all that comes with family life, including the morning school drop off.
